Our customization service allows you to design a kimono from our existing models, creating a piece perfectly suited to your style and desires. Colors, patterns, fabrics, lengths, embroidery, or specific details: every choice transforms an Atelier Sarita design into a piece made just for you. This approach also helps avoid unnecessary stock and minimize waste, thus respecting our artisanal and responsible approach.

SASHIKO EMBROIDERY

To add a touch of history and elegance to your kimono, we offer hand embroidery using the traditional Japanese Sashiko technique.

The word Sashiko, meaning "small stitches" or "small pricks," refers to an art form originating in Japan. Originally, this embroidery was used to reinforce and repair the clothing of farmers and fishermen, providing durability and insulation. Today, it seamlessly blends aesthetics and functionality, transforming each piece into a true work of textile art.

Sashiko patterns, often geometric and inspired by nature, reflect a deep connection with the environment and a search for balance.

UNIQUE AND PERSONALIZED PIECES

Embroidered pieces are made exclusively to order. This choice guarantees meticulous and personalized work, while limiting storage.

Each embroidered kimono is custom-designed, in collaboration with you, to meet your desires and inspirations: choice of materials, colors, length, as well as embroidery patterns (design, quantity and location on the kimono).

A SIMPLE AND PERSONALIZED ORDERING PROCESS

Whether you have a specific idea or simply some initial inspiration, describe your desires:

  • desired material ,
  • desired pattern or print ,
  • desired style or silhouette,
  • special occasion ,
  • desired effect (elegant, casual, sophisticated, etc.),
  • with or without embroidery , and location of the patterns if desired,
  • length of the kimono,
  • or any particular element that will personalize your room.

Your ideas or inspirations are essential to design a kimono that suits you.

Upon receipt of your project, we will contact you to define the details of the creation. Once the details of your kimono have been defined, a personalized quote and a timeline will be sent to you.

Billing and Payment

Once you have approved the quote, we begin the creation process. A deposit of 70% of the order amount is required upon signing the quote, and the balance is due upon shipment of the kimono.

Deadlines and Delivery

Creating your custom kimono requires meticulous work, assessed according to each project and its complexity. Once your piece is finished, we will ship your kimono to you as quickly as possible, carefully packaged to ensure it arrives at your home in optimal condition. You will be kept informed at every stage of production, and you will be able to track your order until its delivery.
